Cookie Policy

Cookies are files installed on a device to store and retrieve data from the terminal used to access a telematic service and, therefore, reflect the browsing habits of internet users.

1. TYPES OF COOKIES

Below are the definitions of all possible types of cookies, categorised accordingly.
These categories are not mutually exclusive, meaning a single cookie may fall under several of them.

According to the entity managing them:

  • First-party cookies: Sent to the user’s device from a server or domain managed by the publisher and from which the requested service is provided.
  • Third-party cookies: Sent to the user’s device from a server or domain not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data collected through the cookies.
  • Third-party cookies also include those sent from a domain managed by the publisher but where the information is handled by a third party.

According to the time they remain active:

  • Session cookies: Collect and store data while the user is accessing a website or application. They are only needed for the duration of the service.
  • Persistent cookies: Data remains stored in the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the cookie controller (potentially years).

According to their purpose:

  • Technical cookies: Enable navigation and use of the website or application and its features or services.
  • Personalisation cookies: Allow access to services with certain general characteristics pre-set on the user’s device (language, browser type, regional settings, etc.).
  • Analytics cookies: Enable monitoring and analysis of user behaviour on the website or app. The information is used to measure activity and improve services.
  • Advertising cookies: Manage advertising spaces included by the publisher on the site.
  • Behavioural advertising cookies: Store information on user behaviour obtained through continuous observation of browsing habits to build a profile and show relevant ads.
